Development of PlayHex.org, an open-source platform for the game of Hex.
On PlayHex, you can:
- Play against people in blitz, live, or correspondence modes.
- Challenge bots from beginner to expert level.
- Get AI reviews of your games to spot mistakes and learn better moves.
- Play ranked games, earn a rating, and track your progress.
- Organize or join tournaments with other Hex players.
PlayHex will never become a private company, and there will never be any ads.
It will always be free to play Hex.
Donation Goals
€22/month: Cover server costs.
Beyond that, depending on donations, future goals may be:
- make PlayHex a non-profit organization
- organize/sponsor in-person Hex tournaments
- dedicate one day per week in PlayHex development
